William McNAMARA married Hannah KENAFACKE at St
Patrick's Catholic Church Toowoomba, 20 April 1908. Hannah
was the second youngest daughter of Jondaryan farmer
Daniel Kenafacke and Mary Maloney. William's younger
brother Edward Patrick McNamara acted as best
man.
In less than a year William was to lose Hannah who she suffered a serious blood infection following the birth of the couples first child William Francis. In another bitter blow the child died from convulsions three months later.
