William McNAMARA married Mary LEE at St. Stephen's
Cathedral, Brisbane on 11 June 1911 just over two years
after the death of his first wife
Hannah Kenafacke.
In March 1909 it was Hannah's dying wish that her best friend Mary Lee care for Will and new born son William Francis. Sadly the child died three months after his mother but Mary kept her promise and the couple spent almost fifty years together. Mary died in Goodna Hospital, 27 April 1956. William lived to over 101 years of age, dying 11 April 1979.
